Local Strategic Partnership (LSP)

Vale Royal Community Forum

Vale Royal Community Forum is an association of organisations and representatives committed to working together in order to improve quality of life for Vale Royal residents and visitors. Its key tasks are:

To produce a Community Plan for the Borough
To work in partnership to avoid duplication and share resources
To identify and review key strategies of partner organisations
To use external/match funding to give quick actions

The structure of the LSP comprises the main LSP board, Performance Management Group and the three Thematic Boards.

Thematic Boards

The three Thematic Boards reflect the main areas of the Community Plan - Driving the Economy, Caring for the Community and Caring for the Environment. They ensure that detailed action plans are produced, that the local community and existing partnerships are actively involved in this process and that partner's performance is monitored and evaluated.

The Performance Management Group includes the chairs from the main LSP board and each of the Thematic Boards. It has responsibility for managing performance across the entire Community Plan.

Neighbourhood Renewal Forum’s

Two neighbourhood renewal forums have been established for Winsford and East Northwich including representatives from the Community, private and public sector.

Both forums are an integral part of the local strategic partnership and feedback progress to the Caring for the Community Thematic Board. A Neighbourhood Renewal Plan has been produced to improve Education, Community Safety, Economy/Jobs, Housing and the Environment in Winsford and East Northwich.
